About The Role

The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) is a clinical practitioner who integrates experience, skills, and
knowledge from the nursing theory in the provision of direct patient/resident care, assessment of
needs, clinical problem solving, and patient/resident and student/staff education. The CNL will contribute
to the development of knowledge and the improvement of practice for an identified client population
(ie Acute Care, ER, LTC).
