Materials Associate

Job Description​

Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Materials Associate to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for : receiv ing product, deliver ing departmental supplies, stock ing inventoried supplies, pick ing and stag ing supplies to fill par levels and departmental orders, manag ing out-dates, accurately and timely manag ing code carts and other critical procedure carts replenishment, locat ing recalled items and process for return shipment, maintain ing departmental orderliness, r otating stock, cycle counting inventory, annual physical inventory , and all other duties assigned.

Shift Details

• Tuesday - 8-430pm
• Wednesday - 8-430pm
• Thursday - 7-330p
• Friday - 7-330pm

Saturday 7-330pm

Off- Sunday and Monday

Responsibilities

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, unload trucks, handle storeroom equipment
• Enters data in hospital Materials Management Information System
• Clean and disinfect medical equipment between patient use to assure it is ready for next patient use
• Ass ists with the daily movement of linen carts
• Able to operate a hand pallet jack
• Able to utilize various electronic devices for order taking
• May also be asked, from time to time, to work at other SLHS CS locations

We are seeking a Materials Associate with proficient math skills as well as great communication skills – written and oral. To be successful in this role you will need to b e able to adapt to and become knowledgeable of numerous software applications.

Minimum starting rate of $18.00/ hou r
