YOUR MISSION

Reporting directly to the Director Social Sustainability, this role drives social compliance and human rights initiatives across assigned suppliers and supports the team in advancing sustainability strategies and goals. Responsibilities include managing audit programs, supplier engagement, grievance handling, data-driven performance tracking and reporting to promote continuous improvement in line with PUMA sustainability standards and local regulatory requirements.

Task 1: Training & Capability Building

  • Coordinate sustainability projects by supporting project planning, defining workplans, tracking timelines, and ensuring key deliverables are completed in line with agreed priorities and milestones.
  • Work with internal teams, suppliers, external partners, and industry initiatives to coordinate project activities, collect inputs, follow up on actions, and support smooth implementation across relevant workstreams.
  • Monitor project progress, identify implementation gaps or risks, prepare status updates, and provide practical recommendations to support timely delivery and continuous improvement of sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct training sessions for sourcing teams, suppliers and factory management to enhance compliance awareness, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

Task 2: Reporting & Team Contribution

  • Support the team’s sustainability reporting by consolidating data inputs, preparing planning materials, tracking milestones, and monitoring progress toward Social Sustainability goals.
  • Maintain reporting tools, trackers, SOPs, and templates to improve data quality, cross functional alignment, and timely visibility of sustainability performance and action plans.
  • Support responses to ESG benchmarking questionnaires and external sustainability information requests by coordinating inputs, collecting supporting evidence, reviewing data accuracy, and ensuring timely and consistent submissions.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Task 3: Audit and Compliance Management

  • Conduct PUMA social audits and oversee third-party audit activities, from planning and coordination to findings review, CAP follow-up, root-cause analysis, and support for sustainable remediation with factory management.
  • Review and analyze audit reports (e.g: SLCP reports, or other audit reports converted from other FLA accredited brands and finalize findings according to PUMA requirements and internal standards.)
  • Ensure timely and accurate tracking of audit results, validity timeline in internal systems, in accordance with internal Sustainability SOPs
  • Provide clear insights, communicate key findings, risks and progress update to relevant stakeholders (e.g. Sourcing, internal teams) to support compliance risk management and decision making.

Task 4: Social KPI Data Collection and Management

  • Collect, validate and analyze Social Sustainability KPIs across assigned suppliers to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify the trends, recurring issues, and key gaps to generate actionable insights and support continuous improvement initiatives and achieve PUMA Sustainability targets.

Task 5: Grievance Mechanism Handling and Management

  • Manage and follow up on worker or third-party grievances received through internal and external channels, ensuring timely and appropriate investigation and resolution.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and 3rd party grievance platforms to ensure smooth implementation, effective handling the cases while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Track grievance cases and analyze trends to identify systemic issues and support preventive actions.

YOUR TALENT

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred (covering the area of expertise required)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in social compliance, sustainability, or related field
  • Hands-on experience working with supplier factories and audit processes
  • Familiarity with social compliance standards (e.g. SLCP, FLA or equivalent)
  • Experience in apparel, footwear, or manufacturing industry
  • Experience working with global brands and sustainability reporting
  • Strong background in Occupational Heath and Safety (OHS)
  • Exposure to data analysis or reporting tools (e.g. advanced Excel, Power BI)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good stakeholder coordination and engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Solid knowledge of relevant regulations and local law
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Fluent in English (required)
  • Travel Time: 50% (Frequent factory visits)
