About The Role

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities

General Purpose: Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

PT (32) position available, primarily days, 8 hour shifts

RN needed for busy OB-GYN midwifery office to perform a variety of tasks. Primary duties will include telephone triage of patient phone calls and consulting with care providers, giving medications and injections as ordered, obtaining vital signs of patients, obtaining and recording medical, surgical and family histories, allergies and current medications, and documenting symptoms or concerns. Nurse performs point of care testing such as pregnancy testing and urinalysis as needed. Assists with office procedures such as colposcopy, biopsy, etc. Responsible for chart review, office compliance with Joint Commission regulations, patient appointment scheduling and other general office duties as necessary. Must be a team player, able to use electronic medical record and willing to be flexible. Reports to Midwifery Chief. Women’s health and ambulatory experience preferred.
