As our Sports Trading Analyst , you’ll play a key part in delivering a high-quality risk and integrity monitoring service. This role is specifically designed for candidates with previous Sports Trading experience who want to apply their market expertise to customer behaviour analysis, integrity investigations, market advantage detection, and sportsbook risk management.

You will work at the intersection of Sports Trading, customer behaviour, integrity monitoring and operational risk, helping identify emerging betting patterns, coordinated activity and sportsbook vulnerabilities.

This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional trading responsibilities while continuing to utilise your understanding of betting markets, odds compilation, market movement and customer betting behaviour. You'll be joining a specialist team that sits close to the heart of the sportsbook operation.

Your work will directly contribute to the sportsbook’s ability to stay ahead of emerging threats and maintain a fair, competitive environment for all users.

What you’ll do

You’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including

• Monitoring betting activity across sportsbook markets and products
• Investigating unusual betting patterns and coordinated customer behaviour
• Identifying emerging trends, integrity risks and market vulnerabilities
• Analysing customer activity using sportsbook, trading and behavioural data
• Supporting investigations into suspicious betting activity
• Providing trading insight into customer and syndicate behaviours
• Escalating potential integrity concerns to relevant stakeholders
• Partnering with Trading, Risk, Behaviour, Compliance and Operational teams
• Helping improve automated detection tools, analytics and monitoring capabilities
• Contributing to the ongoing evolution of sportsbook protection strategies.

• What you’ll bring

You’re someone who brings

• Previous Sports Trading experience within an online sportsbook
• Direct experience in Sports Trading / Trading Analysis / Live Trading / Market Monitoring / Sportsbook Risk Management
• Strong understanding of sports betting markets and customer betting behaviour
• Experience monitoring betting activity and market movements
• Willingness to work under 24/7 shift schedule
• Confident decision‑making under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work
• Strong numerical and analytical thinking
• Passion for sports and live betting markets
• Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), particularly in time‑critical situations and the ability to breakdown complex ideas
• A collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross functional teams to hit shared goals
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball
• Adaptability – you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast moving environment.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills

• Experience within sportsbook integrity, customer risk or behavioural analysis
• Experience identifying suspicious or coordinated betting activity
• Understanding of syndicate and bonus abuse behaviours
• Experience with sportsbook monitoring tools
• SQL or data analysis experience
• Familiarity with Kibana, ElasticSearch or similar monitoring platforms
• Knowledge of regulatory and responsible gambling frameworksIn-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends.
