ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER

As a software test engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating software functions and designing test scenarios to ensure that the system developed works as intended. You will be responsible for initiating all testing procedures, suggesting performance changes, and preparing performance reports for the project managers once requested. You should have a good eye for detail, and a skill for software troubleshooting. A skilled software test engineer should be able to identify even the smallest flaw in software designs and suggest simple yet effective fixes. You will be involved in the full project life cycle of the software development. You will also do requirement analysis and gap analysis.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years work experience in testing software (web/mobile/pc/embedded)
• Knowledge with quality testing for software
• Knowledge in automation testing using any test tool is a plus (Selenium, Robot Framework)
• Knowledge in any DBMS is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and keen in recording/reporting issues
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to collate data and compile test reports
• Excellent software troubleshooting skills
• Ability to design and write complex software testing procedures
