This role will involve developing and revising structural engineering office practices, details, standards and specifications for inclusion VDOT’s Structure and Bridge Division Manual and other VDOT documents; preparing recommendations for changes and modifications to current design guidelines and standards; and interpreting AASHTO guidelines and requirements and how they apply to the work.
