In this role, you will

• Electrical Engineering & Technical Leadership- Serve as the primary engineering resource for electrical systems, equipment, and related processes across the mill.
• Provide technical expertise and support to production, maintenance, administrative, and engineering teams.
• Analyze and resolve complex electrical and equipment-related issues that impact safety, reliability, quality, and productivity.
• Identify and implement improvements that enhance equipment performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and operating effectiveness.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
• Apply engineering best practices and innovative technologies to improve operational performance and asset utilization.
• Capital Planning & Budget Development- Partner in the annual development of the plant's three-year capital and major maintenance budget.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, modernization, and process improvements.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, vendor quotations, and supporting business justifications.
• Prepare project descriptions and budget forecasts that support the mill's strategic objectives and long-term growth plans.
• Project Development & Preparation- Develop and lead cross-functional project teams consisting of operations, maintenance, engineering, and technical personnel.
• Create detailed project specifications and comprehensive scopes of work.
