About The Role

What You'll Do

  • Conduct purchasing negotiations with carriers, service providers and suppliers to secure competitive rates and optimal service conditions.
  • Prepare accurate customer quotations in accordance with cargo-partner's pricing standards and internal procedures.
  • Maintain and update monthly, quarterly and annual pricing offers based on current market conditions and company strategy.
  • Monitor and follow up on all quotations through the QuoM system to ensure visibility and timely actions.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Product Management, Trade Lane Management and Line Management to align pricing activities and business objectives.
  • Prepare monthly pricing reports, providing analysis of performance, market trends and quotation results.
  • Maintain updated pricing information within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistency across documentation.
  • Participate actively in monthly pricing meetings, sharing market intelligence and contributing to pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare competitive and accurate quotations while ensuring full compliance with cargo-partner's standardized pricing procedures.
  • Support business retention, expansion, and development initiatives through effective pricing strategies.
  • Verify customer credit limits before order confirmation or operational handover and coordinate credit limit requests when required.
  • Ensure high-quality and accurate pricing data is maintained within the QuoM system.
  • Update customer activities, meeting notes, target accounts, opportunities, and strategic information in Salesforce.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and workflows throughout the quotation and order management process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and service delivery.
  • Monitor market developments, pricing trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and maintain competitiveness.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize pricing processes and customer service.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Freight Forwarding, Pricing, Logistics Operations, Customer Service or Sales Support is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of international transportation, freight forwarding and logistics processes.
  • Experience negotiating with carriers and service providers is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Salesforce, CargoWise, or similar logistics systems is considered an advantage.
