Your Responsibilities

• Connect and operate test stand unit and adjusts controls as necessary to meet specifications
• Ability to locate and identify the safe testing amperage and voltage
• Read schematics and blueprints to ensure proper assembly
• Ability to use computer test software effectively
• Complete required test documentation in a timely manner
• Identify , troubleshoot and resolve unit performance abnormalities within electrical and refrigeration systems
• Communicate the status of the test process to team members and supervisors
• Effective use of specialized and basic tools necessary to complete test process
• Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production
• Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area
• Follow and understand HOMESafe , Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements.
• Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards
• Read and interpret blue prints , sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements
• Ability to use hand tools
• Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks)
• All other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications

• The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
• The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time .
• The ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• 2-year trade school ( EPA) certificate in A/C Refrigeration or equivalent education approved by company
