Job Title: Watchfloor Analyst

Location: On-Site, McLean, VA

Clearance Level: Top Secret / SCI, Must Have Clearance to Start

Job Description

Conducts independent intelligence analysis, integrating data from multiple sources to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and pattern trends to enhance threat awareness. Develops reports and briefings for decision-makers and stakeholders. Works closely with cybersecurity, defense, and/or security teams to provide analytic support to further operations. Utilizes advanced analytical tools to improve intelligence assessments.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Analyzes, assimilates, and evaluates all available intelligence information relating to their assigned area of responsibility;
  • Responsible for selecting new and pertinent material for the files and for recognizing important new information which may suggest the necessity for further examination or study;
  • Prepares finished studies of factual data;
  • Provides specialized intelligence and threat analysis and production support;
  • Accesses and performs research on designated automated intelligence databases for the purpose of identifying information of interest to the customer, downloading the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) to be specified by the customer;
  • Provides intelligence and threat analysis of the information that is tailored to the customer's requirements;
  • Develops information and technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations and other designated products in support of the customer's information and technical support requirements; and
  • Presents briefings to personnel designated by the customer.

Education and Background

Possess four (4) years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or national security or higher from an accredited college or university. Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for degree.

Required Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications to include Access and Outlook.
  • Possess skill in following procedures and paying attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated oral communication and interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills sufficient to explain actions taken and how recommendations were derived.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with administrative and technical writing, and editting/proofreading (highly desrirable)
  • Experience utilizing Power BI

Working Conditions

Full Time onsite. Working from a desk within SCIF 12 hour shifts (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am). Shifts operate on a 2-3-2 schedule on 2-week intervals (Mon-Tue Scheduled Onsite, Wed-Fri Off, Sat-Sun Scheduled Onsite, Mon-Tue Off, Wed-Fri Schedule Onsite; Sat-Sun Off)
