Engagement Manager, Professional Services, Korea

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to join our team and lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. In this role you will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for our clients. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating technical discussions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes.

• Leading and managing complex transformation programs
• Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
• Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and mapping them to business outcomes
• Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
• Contributing to technical documentation and defining documentation standards
• Traveling to client locations and delivering professional services as needed
• Proactively identifying and managing risks, resolving issues, and escalating when appropriate
• Achieving and maintaining relevant AWS certifications and developing domain-specific expertise
• 5+ years leading and managing enterprise transformation programs with consulting background
• 3+ years experience in leading hybrid of multiple Agile and non-Agile teams concurrently and/or at scale
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
• AWS experience preferred
• Experience using and adopting scaled agile framework (e.g. SAFe, LeSS)
• Experience engaging C-level executives and senior leaders
• Strong understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices
• Proven ability to establish technical credibility with engineering teams and senior technical decision-makers
