Fundraising Specialist

- The Educational Equality Institute , an NGO based in Norway committed to educating and thereby empowering disadvantaged girls.
- In response to the war in Ukraine, we started the project: “Together for Ukraine”.
- Free educational programs where we, together with our partners, will help 100.000 Ukrainians shape their future through education, upskilling, and employment.
- We are looking for a volunteer Fundraising Specialist who is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of fundraising campaigns and activities at TEEI.
Role Scope
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with TEEI's mission and goals.
- Arrange meetings with partners and communicate regularly with them to maintain strong partnerships and explore potential collaborations.
- Research and identify potential new partners, and develop strategies to build relationships with them.
- Explore innovative and effective ways to generate funding for the NGO, including researching and identifying new fundraising strategies.
- Track fundraising progress, analyze data, and report results to senior leadership.
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and communications, to ensure fundraising efforts align with overall organizational goals.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with donors and communicate effectively with team members.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with fundraising software, online platforms, and other tools to support fundraising efforts (Salesforce, Classy, Fundly, Everydayhero, Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Willingness to identify opportunities to automate and streamline fundraising processes, and implement tools and software to make fundraising efforts more efficient.
