Optical Module Design Engineer

1. 광모듈을 설계하고 제작된 샘플을 평가하고 디버깅하는 하드웨어 엔지니어

• 차장/부장급의 역량있는 분 선호
• 고속 신호전송 및 고전력 설계 경험이 필요
• 영어소통 능력 필요: (i) 설계 시 영문 spec sheet 등 기술문서를 읽고 설계에 적용, (ii) 북미 IC 등 부품 공급사와 영어로 소통하며 기술지원을 받는 등을 위해 영어소통 능력이 필요.

1. 팀구성 : 개발팀장 1 명, 개발인력 7 명
2. 보고라인 : 연구소장 - 팀장- 팀원
3. 연봉 구간 : 0.7 ~1.0 억원 ( 역량에 따라 변동 큼 )

• Responsible for design and development of optical products for 112G signaling and beyond.
• The individual will be responsible for developing active optical cable and optical transceiver

products and supporting the development of test systems and product qualifications.

• The position requires close customer interaction with the development of product

requirements and specifications.

• The engineering team helps define the roadmap and strategy for fast-growing businesses in cloud computing and large datacenter deployments
• Design, develop, debug, and support active optical cables and optical transceiver products at

200G, 400G, 800 G, 1.6T and beyond.

• Lead the schematic and PCBA design for active optical cable and transceiver products.
• Establish product testing procedure; Identify test requirement and equipment for optical

product characterizations.

• Work hand-in-hand with firmware engineer in the development of active optical cable and

transceiver products.

• Work with test engineer/technician on Engineering Verification Tests (EVT) and Design

Verification Tests (DVT).

• Work with NPI and process engineers on new product introduction to manufacturing sites.
• Work with mechanical integrity team and mechanical design team in the development of active

optical cable and transceiver products.

• 5years or more work experiences
• Work experience in multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Knowledge of system level and channel/link modeling.
• Good understanding of optical transceiver technical evolution.
• Good time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
