Senior Engineer, ADS(Asia Design Service)

• Offering differentiating factors and competitive advantage to Company component business and help positioned Avnet as the preferred partner of both suppliers and customers.
• Helps build long term vendor-customer relationship with Company's key customers.
• Together with Market Development team, helps Company to win and grow business in the focused vertical market.

Job Duties

• Are arranged in order of importance that indicate the weight, or value, of each duty; weight of a duty is gauged by the percentage of time devoted to it.
• Stress the responsibilities that duties entail and the results to be accomplished.
• Indicate the tools and equipment used by the employee in performing the job.
• Should comply with law by listing only the essential functions of the job to be performed.
• Manage and deliver the internal reference design or external projects undertaken by Avnet team, meeting the expected timeline and requirements.
• Involve in all aspects of the design cycle from concept to production release in areas such as feasibility studies, product definition, detailed design, testing and troubleshooting, documentation and inclusive of training and on-site support where necessary.
• Multi-tasking in delivering technical support around firmware, hardware, and RF to the regions in respective focused application/technology line card.
• Support may extend up to solving product type approval and certification issues faced by the customers.

Job Specifications

• Education requirement
• Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering
• Years of relevant experience
• Over 8 years’ experience in semi-conductors or electronics industry
• R&D / Product Development background with a flair for market development preferred.
• Experience in project management and technical support.
• Experience in working across various vertical markets, applications and technologies will be an added

advantage

• Hands-on person and experience with CAD tools for schematic and PCB layout.

Following Wireless charging experience required

• Need to be familiar with the Wireless Alliance WPC specifications and the ATL (Authorized Test Lab) certification process.
• Automotive safety specification verification process.
