Data Modeler Job Title Data Modeler Reporting Structure Project Manager Education Graduation in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or similar field or post-graduation in above mentioned discipline from a recognized University Experience/ Qualifications · 5 to 8 years of experience in data modelling for Relational (Oracle, MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra) · Strong expertise in HRMS domain data modeling (employee master data, payroll, benefits, performance management, compliance reporting · Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale data models · Experience with data migration projects and integration with legacy HRMS systems · Expert on data migration projects and integration with legacy systems · Experience with data modelling tools Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler/ Other tools (logical/physical/relational modelling) · Proficiency in ER diagrams, normalization, and schema design · Strong knowledge of metadata management, data dictionaries, and data lineage · Experience designing and executing schema conversions, data mappings, and ETL/ELT pipelines for HRMS migration projects · Exposure to NoSQL and Big Data ecosystems (MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop) is a plus. Responsibilities · Design and maintain HRMS-specific data models tailored for migration: produce logical and physical schemas, define primary/foreign keys constraints, indexes, and partitioning strategies to support target systems · Define primary/foreign keys, constraints, indexes, and partitioning strategies to support HRMS workloads · Establish, document and enforce data governance standards, including metadata management and master data management (MDM) practices. · Collaborate with HRMS application owners, QA, infrastructure, and security teams to align migration plans with business requirements and HR data privacy/security policies · Collaborating with other teams within the organization to devise and implement data strategies, build models, and assess shareholder needs and goals.
