Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Executive - Payroll & Accounting Specialist to manage payroll operations and support accounting activities across multiple geographies. The role involves coordinating with external payroll providers, ensuring compliance with UK and international payroll regulations, performing payroll reconciliations, and supporting month-end accounting processes. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, payroll knowledge, and an understanding of accounting principles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple countries by coordinating closely with external payroll service providers. Ensure compliance with UK payroll regulations, including PAYE, National Insurance (NI), pension requirements, and applicable statutory regulations in international locations. Review payroll inputs, perform payroll reconciliations, prepare payroll journals, and support month-end accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors to address and resolve payroll-related queries and operational issues in a timely manner. Support internal and external audits, statutory reporting requirements, and continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and controls. Key Success Measures Customer – Customer Satisfaction, Associate Retention and Attraction Financial – Reduced cost-to-serve/optimization, Profitability improvement Operational – Defined Structure, Improved Employee Value Proposition People – Higher associate engagement, lower attrition Skills & Experience Experience: 0-2 years in UK Payroll, International Payroll, Accounting, or Finance Operations. Education: <B.Com>, <M.Com>, MBA Finance, or equivalent. Experience working with payroll vendors, shared services, or finance operations teams will be an added advantage. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with accounting systems, banking portals, and financial software.
