Line of Service Assurance Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Assurance Management Level Associate Job Description & Summary Meet your future team You will join PwC Luxembourg’s Actuarial Services team, part of our broader advisory practice supporting insurance and reinsurance clients. You will work closely with actuaries, risk specialists and accountants on cross‑functional projects in a collaborative, hands‑on environment. What your role will look like As an Associate, you contribute to actuarial and regulatory projects that help insurers navigate complex requirements and make informed decisions. Your work supports both client delivery and internal collaboration, with exposure to a wide range of insurance topics and project types. Contribute to Solvency II assignments by supporting quantitative analyses, calculations and monitoring activities that inform risk and capital decisions Analyse regulatory and accounting frameworks (Solvency II, IFRS, Lux GAAP) and support the recalculation of technical provisions and experience studies Support multi‑disciplinary projects such as M&A and due diligence engagements, risk and capital modelling, IFRS 17 implementation and actuarial outsourcing Participate in insurance and reinsurance set‑up or restructuring projects, including feasibility studies and portfolio transfers Collaborate with senior team members to translate technical outputs into clear insights for clients and internal stakeholders Your growth and opportunities You will progressively take ownership of workstreams while expanding your technical actuarial and regulatory expertise. The role offers broad exposure to insurance advisory topics and close coaching from experienced professionals, enabling you to grow in responsibility and confidence over time. The skills you bring University degree with a specialisation in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or quantitative finance Initial professional experience in actuarial or insurance‑related work (internships or full‑time) Modelling skills with R or Python at a working knowledge level Solid understanding of insurance concepts and interest in regulatory and accounting topics English: fluent (C1) Ways of working Analyse information logically and structure quantitative outputs to support sound conclusions Demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn across actuarial, regulatory and insurance topics Work collaboratively with colleagues from different disciplines to deliver shared outcomes You act with integrity, handle confidential information with care, and uphold high ethical standards in every situation Take your next step Step into a role where your analytical skills contribute to meaningful client outcomes and your development is supported from day one.
