IN_Associate_Direct Tax_Finanace & Accounts_IFS_Gurugram

Responsibilities: The person will majorly be working on direct tax matters for PwC India member firms. These relates to tax advices including WHT on foreign payment, compliances, preparation of responses on queries of tax authorities, collating details & preparing data for assessment proceedings, etc. This will include reconciliation of source data, identification of mismatches and taking corrective measure to address those mismatches and finalizing the source data before carrying out the computational exercise. This will be an internal role and there will not be any external client’s involvement Person having hands on experience on the following: o Preparation of details for ongoing income tax litigations in connection of assessment/ appeal and coordinating with outside/in-house consultant. o Review of various income/expenses schedules required in connection with the assessment proceedings. o Assisting in preparation of computations, deferred tax provisions, Tax audit report, ITR filing & filing of Income tax return for company/firm; o Handling of TDS defaults notices/review of TDS returns and rates ; o Advising on tax implications (including WHT on foreign payments) o Sound working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) and Power Point. o Good presentation and communication skill (both written as well as speaking). Ability to handle high volume data Mandatory skill sets: Review of various income/expenses schedules required in connection with the assessment proceedings. o Assisting in preparation of computations, deferred tax provisions, Tax audit report, ITR filing & filing of Income tax return for company/firm Preferred skill sets: o Handling of TDS defaults notices/review of TDS returns and rates ; o Advising on tax implications (including WHT on foreign payments) Years of experience required: 1+ years Education qualification: CA
