We help our clients implement and effectively adopt leading core platforms to solve complex business problems and fuel success across policy lifecycle. We are hiring experienced Business Analysts to support large-scale core insurance platform transformation programs for leading Indian insurers. The BA will take end-to-end ownership of the business analysis lifecycle — from current-state discovery through requirements, fit-gap analysis, solution validation, testing, and production readiness — for Reinsurance & Accounting modules. This is a senior, business-facing role. We are looking for people who can challenge business requirements, drive decisions, and own a workstream — not just document requirements. Job Position Title: IN_Senior Associate_Business Analyst (Insurance sector)__ AppTech_Advisory _Mumbai Responsibilities : · Own the BA lifecycle: Business Analysis → Requirement Definition → Gap Analysis → Solution Validation → Testing → Production Readiness for the assigned module. · Conduct current-state (as-is) discovery, document processes, data flows and interfaces across the systems landscape (legacy core, Claims, Finance/SAP, MIS/Data warehouse, Cash Deposit, Reconciliation). · Facilitate requirement workshops with business, operations and finance stakeholders. · Perform fit-gap analysis — map requirements to core PAS functionality; recommend configuration-first solutions and justify any change requests. · Author BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, rule matrices, decision tables and configuration/mapping sheets. · Own testing — define scenarios, prepare test cases, support SIT/UAT execution, manage requirements traceability, defect triage and business sign-off. · Validate data migration — source-to-target mapping review and business reconciliation of migrated balances. · Support cutover, go-live and hypercare; track readiness, issues and signoffs. · Coordinate closely with the implementation team and act as the business custodian within the programme. Mandatory skill sets: 8+ years in insurance business analysis, with hands-on experience in insurance core transformation / core platform implementation programmes. · Working experience on a core insurance platform — one or more of: TCS BaNCS, Duck Creek, or a legacy core (e.g., Genesis Configurator / comparable PAS). · Mandatory functional depth in at least one of the following (multiple is a strong plus): Reinsurance, Accounting & Receipting · Demonstrated experience across the full BA lifecycle including fit-gap analysis, requirements traceability, SIT/UAT, and data migration validation. · Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills. Preferred skill sets: Good to Have Insurance product related certification, · Certification in Project Management tools, Agile etc. Years of experience required: •4 to 9 years in Business Analysis / Project Delivery roles Education qualification: B.E. / <B.Tech> / MCA/ M.E/ <M.TECH/> MBA/ PGDM. All qualifications should be in regular full-time mode with no extension of course duration due to backlogs
