Job Description & Summary: We are seeking a seasoned IICS & Data Migration Lead at the Manager/Senior Manager level to lead, architect, and deliver large-scale data migration and integration programs using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). The role goes beyond hands-on development — it requires solution ownership, team leadership, client engagement, estimation, and delivery governance across complex SAP and non-SAP migration programs. Job Position Title: IN_Senior Associate_IICS Data Migration _D&A_Advisory_PAN India Responsibilities: Solution Leadership & Architecture: Own end-to-end solution design and architecture for data migration engagements using IICS (CDI, CAI, Data Quality, Mass Ingestion). Define integration patterns, connector strategies (SAP, JDBC, Flat File, REST/SOAP), and reusable frameworks for large-scale migrations. Establish performance optimization standards (pushdown optimization, partitioning, caching, parallel processing) across the team. Drive technical decisions on migration approach — big bang vs. phased, batch vs. real-time, full vs. incremental loads. Delivery & Program Management: Lead delivery of multiple concurrent migration workstreams — managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and quality. Own estimation, planning, and resource allocation for migration programs. Define and enforce migration methodology — profiling, source-to-target mapping, cleansing, mock runs, cutover planning, reconciliation, and hypercare. Drive cutover governance — go/no-go decisions, rollback strategies, and stakeholder sign-offs. Establish quality gates, testing frameworks, and reconciliation mechanisms to ensure zero-data-loss migrations. SAP & Non-SAP Migration Expertise: Provide technical leadership for SAP ECC/S4HANA data extraction (BAPI, RFC, IDoc, CDS Views, BW Extractors) and guide team on ABAP-based extraction logic. Oversee non-SAP migrations from Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, Flat Files, Cloud DBs (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery), and API-based sources. Resolve complex data dependencies, transformation challenges, and cross-system integration issues. Team Leadership & Mentoring: Lead and mentor a team of 5–15 IICS developers and migration analysts (Senior Associates and below). Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and drive best practices adoption across the team. Build team capability through knowledge sharing, training, and structured onboarding of new joiners. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients on migration engagements. Present solution approaches, migration strategies, and progress updates to client leadership (Director/VP level). Manage client expectations, scope changes, and escalations proactively. Collaborate with client-side SAP functional teams, data owners, and IT leadership. Pre-Sales & Practice Development: Support pre-sales and business development — contribute to proposals, RFP responses, effort estimations, and solution presentations. Develop reusable accelerators, templates, and frameworks for IICS-based migration engagements. Contribute to practice building — thought leadership, internal training, and capability development. Mandatory skill sets: IICS (Must-Have) : 6+ years hands-on + architecture experience with IICS — CDI, CAI, Data Quality, Mass Ingestion, Taskflows, Advanced Mappings & Mapplets, Connectors (SAP, JDBC, Flat File, REST/SOAP), Performance Optimization at scale SAP Migration (Must-Have): Led SAP ECC/S4HANA migration programs; deep understanding of BAPI/RFC/IDoc, CDS Views, BW Extractors; ABAP-level data extraction knowledge Non-SAP Migration (Must-Have): Led migrations from 2+ non-SAP sources: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, Flat Files, Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery, REST/SOAP APIs Migration Methodology: Proven experience owning and governing end-to-end migration lifecycle across multiple projects SQL : Expert-level SQL — complex querying, reconciliation design, performance tuning Leadership : Experience leading teams of 5–15; mentoring, workload management, quality assurance Client Management : Direct client-facing experience; comfort presenting to senior stakeholders Estimation & Planning : Experience in effort estimation, SOW scoping, and delivery planning Preferred skill sets: Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and large-scale PowerCenter-to-IICS migration programs. Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and native data services (ADF, Glue, Dataflow). Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for IICS deployments and DevOps practices for data integration. Knowledge of CDC mechanisms , event-driven architecture, and real-time integration patterns. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (Informatica Data Catalog, Collibra). Experience in ERP transformation programs (SAP S/4HANA conversions, greenfield/brownfield implementations). Informatica certifications (IICS Developer / Cloud Data Integration / Data Quality). Prior experience in Big 4 / top-tier consulting firms delivering large migration programs is strongly preferred.
