Job Description & Summary: We are looking for an experienced GCP Data Engineer with 5-8 years of hands-on experience to design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure data pipelines and solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud data engineering, experience working with Google Cloud services, and ability to optimize data workflows to support analytics and machine learning initiatives. Job Position Title: IN_Senior Associate_GCP Data Engineer _One Cloud_Advisory_Bangalore (India) Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows on Google Cloud Platform. Develop scalable, reliable data processing solutions using tools like Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to build end-to-end data solutions. Optimize and tune BigQuery and other GCP services for performance and cost efficiency. Ensure data quality, governance, and security across pipelines and data lakes. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and optimize workflows. Mandatory skill sets: 5-8 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform data services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer. Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and experience with data pipeline frameworks (Apache Beam, Airflow). Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and distributed data processing. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to work collaboratively in agile teams Preferred skill sets: Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification. Experience with ML workflows and integration of data pipelines for ML training and deployment. Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud data solutions. Knowledge on ETL/ELT development and data modeling concepts. Years of experience required: · 6- 7 years Education qualification: · BE/ Btech/ Mtech/ MCA/ MBA (fulltime)
