Your job You will join Group Prevention and Protection in a key role, working alongside the current Lead of GPP, with the clear objective of taking over the role in a 2 years' perspective and ensuring long term continuity for the function. As GPP (senior) Manager you are responsible for supporting managing the Group Prevention Protection Lead in developing, implementing and controlling the Group Safety, Health and Physical Security and Environmental Compliance programs by promoting and safeguarding the physical security, safety, wellbeing and environmental responsibility of the Proximus Group’s workforce and assets. By managing risks in a proactive and reactive way, he ensures a safe – healthy – secure and compliant work environment and stimulates wellbeing of the employees. Responsibilities As a member of the GPP team, you participate actively in the development and achievement of the objectives and strategy. You assist in the development and the dynamic management of Safety Health, Environmental Compliance, and the wellbeing of the employees. You support and help safeguard Environmental compliance across the Proximus Group, ensuring alignment with applicable environmental legislation, permits, and internal standards. You are responsible for the application of the statutory duties imposed on the prevention advisor Safety Health and for supporting environmental regulatory obligations (for dedicated entities/affiliates). You analyse, do research and define action plans for Safety Health, Wellbeing, Environmental Compliance and Physical Security in consultation with the different internal and external actors. You assist in defining the Physical Security strategy, work out policies and standards, and contribute to environmental policies and compliance frameworks, operational management of the security systems, processes and procedures. You maintain and strive to permanently improve relationships with national and local authorities. You consult with the parties in order to ensure successful realisations so the Safety Health, Environmental Compliance and Physical Security objectives and strategy can be realized. As a trusted advisor and future successor, you will act as delegate of the GPP Department Lead and you will be able to articulate a mid and long term vision for the department including Safety, Health, Physical Security and Environmental Compliance, as well as to defend it towards all main stakeholders throughout the entire company (incl. top senior management leads and unions representatives).
