About The Role
About Us Original Composites and Fiberglass is a global leader in glass reinforcement solutions for the composites industry. Purpose of the Role The European Material Planner is responsible for translating Sales & Operations Planning decisions into executable material and replenishment plans across the European network while ensuring material availability, service performance, inventory targets and working capital objectives. The role serves as the operational bridge between Supply Planning, sourcing plants, subcontractors, logistics partners and customer-facing teams. This is an individual contributor role with opportunities for growth in the future. Job Responsibilities Safety First Integrate safety considerations into planning and supply chain decisions. Participate in safety initiatives and audits. Address identified supply chain safety risks. Material Planning & Supply Execution Develop material plans based on approved S&OP outputs. Coordinate supply execution with sourcing plants and European subcontractors. Manage exceptions, capacity constraints and supply risks. Support S&OE reviews through mitigation scenarios and execution visibility. Toller & Subcontractor Management Monitor production schedules and schedule attainment. Coordinate recovery plans and performance improvements initiatives. Inventory Management & Working Capital Define SKU inventory targets. Drive SMOI reduction and inventory optimization. Ensure alignment with working capital objectives. Data, Systems & Execution Excellence Maintain SAP master data and planning parameters. Monitor GRNI and execution quality metrics. Ensure compliance with governance standards. Digitalization & Continuous Improvement Leverage dashboards and analytics. Support ERP transformation and process standardization. Lead continuous improvement initiatives. Key Performance Indicators Customer Service Level Material Availability Inventory Target Attainment Working Capital Performance SMOI Reduction Schedule Attainment Supply Plan Adherence Supplier/Toller Performance GRNI Aging Compliance SAP Master Data Accuracy Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration APICS, CSCP, CPIM, Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred. Experience 5+ years in material planning, supply chain or operations planning within a manufacturing environment.
