This role is suited to an early-career implementation professional with approximately 2–4 years’ relevant experience in financial systems, ERP implementation, business analysis, testing, fintech, payments, banking, corporate finance, treasury, or a related environment.

The role focuses on system configuration, requirements documentation, testing, data validation, client engagement, and go-live support.

Prior exposure to treasury management systems is advantageous, but not essential. Candidates with strong transferable experience in system configuration, testing, data handling, implementation support, and client-facing delivery will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

System Configuration and Delivery

  • Configure financial or treasury system functionality in line with approved requirements and solution designs.
  • Translate business requirements into system workflows, configuration settings, templates, and process rules.
  • Validate configuration through internal testing and support delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.

Requirements and Client Engagement

  • Participate in client workshops to gather, clarify, and document business and system requirements.
  • Support clients with implementation workbooks, data templates, and required inputs.
  • Ensure requirements, configuration decisions, and testing outcomes are clearly documented and traceable.

Testing, UAT, and Issue Resolution

  • Support system testing, user acceptance testing, scenario validation, and defect resolution.
  • Log, track, investigate, and help resolve configuration gaps, data issues, and testing defects.
  • Work with internal teams and clients to confirm fixes, retest solutions, and support UAT sign-off.

Data Preparation and Migration Support

  • Assist with data collection, cleansing, mapping, loading, and validation.
  • Review client data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Escalate data risks, gaps, or dependencies that may affect implementation delivery.

Go-Live and Knowledge Transfer

  • Support go-live preparation, production readiness, and early-life system support.
  • Assist with user queries, implementation issues, and minor configuration adjustments during transition.
  • Support knowledge transfer and handover to clients, internal teams, and support functions.

Documentation and Project Coordination

  • Prepare and maintain configuration guides, test scripts, solution notes, issue logs, and project documentation.
  • Track assigned tasks, deliverables, risks, and dependencies in line with project plans.
  • Provide progress updates and collaborate with project managers, consultants, technical teams, and client stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related field.

Approximately 2–4 years’ relevant experience in one or more of the following

  • Financial or ERP system implementation, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage.
  • Business analysis, testing, process design, or implementation support.
  • Fintech, payments, bank integrations, or financial systems delivery.
  • Treasury, corporate finance, accounting, or finance roles with strong systems exposure.
  • Practical experience in system configuration, testing, data migration, data validation, or integrations.
  • Experience working in client-facing environments and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Tools and Platform Exposure

Candidates should be comfortable using technology and data tools to support implementation delivery, including

  • Microsoft Excel and structured data workbooks.
  • System configuration interfaces or administration tools.
  • Testing, issue tracking, or project delivery tools.
  • Documentation and requirements management templates.

Exposure to any of the following would be advantageous, but is not mandatory

  • Treasury management systems such as IT2, TreasuryXpress, Kyriba, Quantum, or similar platforms.
  • ERP, accounting, banking, payments, risk, or finance systems.
  • SQL, APIs, data mapping, integrations, or data structures.
  • Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Vendor-specific TMS training or certification.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working between business requirements and system functionality. They enjoy solving problems, working with data, supporting clients, and learning how financial systems are implemented in real-world environments.

This role would suit someone who is structured, curious, accountable, and eager to build expertise in treasury systems, financial technology, and implementation consulting.
