SDET ( API Automation)

We are looking for an enthusiastic

QA Automation Engineer

at the junior level who has hands-on experience working with automation tools and frameworks. This is a great opportunity for someone who has started their automation journey and is looking to grow in a structured, collaborative team environment.

You do not need to have built frameworks from scratch — but you must have actively contributed to automated test suites, executed API tests, and understand the fundamentals of QA well enough to work independently on assigned test scenarios.

What will you do?

Write and execute automated test cases using Selenium, Tosca, or similar frameworks

Perform API testing using Postman or RestAssured — validate JSON/XML responses and status codes

Execute Smoke, Sanity, and Regression test suites and report results clearly

Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA or equivalent tools

Collaborate with developers to understand features and design relevant test scenarios

Maintain and update existing test scripts as the application evolves

Write basic SQL queries to validate data in test environments

Good to Have

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) — even if only triggering builds
• Basic programming knowledge in Java or Python for writing test scripts
• Familiarity with Git for version control
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit test frameworks
• Has a personal GitHub with test scripts or a portfolio project
