What You'll Do Manage and maintain MySQL and MongoDB databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, backups, and recovery. Monitor database health, optimize queries, and improve overall system performance. Implement database monitoring, automation, and maintenance processes. Ensure database reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness. Collaborate with engineering teams to support application deployments and resolve database-related issues. Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance across database environments. Support capacity planning, resource optimization, and production database operations. What We're Looking For Strong hands-on experience with MySQL and MongoDB database administration. Good understanding of PostgreSQL and Cassandra is an added advantage. Experience in SQL query optimization and database performance tuning. Knowledge of backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery strategies. Familiarity with automation, scripting, and database monitoring tools. Understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and production database environments. Knowledge of database security, OS hardening, and best practices. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
