Job Summary

We are seeking a self-driven, results-oriented Test Lead with proven expertise in both manual and automation testing. The role focuses on end-to-end test process management, driving test automation adoption, and championing a "quality-first" culture across teams. You will enforce standardized testing practices, oversee test execution and defect management, and enhance delivery reliability, efficiency, and confidence—while adhering to industry best practices and continuously improving test maturity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Process Deployment & Maintenance

• Deploy and maintain a standardized test management framework, covering test approach, planning, execution, reporting, and defect management.
• Ensure application changes are properly validated against impact acceptance criteria and regression impact, with clear evidence of validation.
• Lead a robust defect management process focused on triage, root cause analysis (RCA), prioritization, and trend analysis to drive continuous improvement.

1. Test Automation Leadership

• Define clear guidelines for automation testing (value-driven use cases, types, and tool selection) to maximize efficiency and reliability.
• Lead the adoption of standard automation frameworks and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for seamless delivery.
• Increase automated testing coverage incrementally, balancing with manual testing needs to optimize overall testing effectiveness.

1. Quality Culture Champion

• Promote a "quality first" mindset across projects and squads, especially during high-pressure delivery phases.
• Research, learn, and share emerging testing trends, practices, tools, and templates, supporting pilot initiatives for teams.
• Conduct independent quality reviews to assess test maturity levels, identify gaps, and drive targeted improvement actions.

1. Test Execution & Oversight

• Oversee end-to-end test execution across manual and automation testing, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
• Generate clear, actionable test reports to communicate progress, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration to resolve testing bottlenecks and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

1. Test Maturity Improvement

• Continuously evaluate and enhance test processes, tools, and practices based on project outcomes, industry trends, and team feedback.
• Embed quality metrics and success criteria into testing workflows to measure effectiveness and drive accountability.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related majors.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a test leadership within large-scale organizations.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing test management frameworks, driving test automation, and fostering quality culture.
• Proficiency in both manual testing methodologies (functional, regression, exploratory) and automation testing tools/frameworks.
• Expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, JMeter) and frameworks, with experience integrating into CI/CD pipelines.
• Speak and write in both English and Chinese.
