LBE Maintenance Technician

As an LBE Maintenance Technician, you will provide hands-on technical support for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of container handling equipment and yard tractors in Zamboanga, ensuring that critical assets remain operational and ready to support business demands. Your expertise will play a vital role in minimizing equipment downtime, improving operational reliability, and maintaining a safe working environment. Through proactive maintenance and timely repairs, you will contribute directly to the seamless movement of goods and the overall success of our logistics operations. What you’ll do.. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections on CHEs Perform scheduled PMS on CHEs Repair and replace defective components, assemblies, and systems Conduct functional testing after repairs to verify equipment performance Assist in major repairs, component rebuild, and equipment overhauls Maintains service history records for assigned equipment Ensure work areas are maintained in clean and safe condition You’ll thrive in this role if you.. Educational Background Graduate in Automotive Course or any Vocational/Technical school Professional Experience Experience working with container handling equipment, construction equipment, mining equipment, or industrial machinery is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Licensure / Certification Required NCII certification is an advantage Technical Knowledge Diesel engines Hydraulic systems Powertrain and transmission systems Brake and steering systems Electrical systems Equipment preventive maintenance Skills and Competencies Ability to work independently and under pressure Strong troubleshooting skills Good communication skills Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset Strong commitment to safety and quality What’s In It for you at 2GO Own work that matters.
