About The Role

Here’s the difference you’ll make As a Driver you will be responsible for transporting passengers, goods, or company materials safely and efficiently to designated locations. The role requires adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards while maintaining the assigned vehicle in good working condition. What you’ll do (your mission) a. Execute the timely and efficient transport of cargo for delivery to consignees and the accurate pick-up of shipments from shippers, ensuring strict adherence to schedules and service commitments. b. Ensure all cargo is handled with utmost care and delivered in a safe, complete, and damage-free condition, in accordance with company standards and client expectations. c. Secure and submit complete and accurate Proof of Delivery (POD) documents, including all required attachments, to ensure proper documentation of each transaction. d. Plan and optimize delivery and pick-up routes to maximize efficiency, minimize delays, and consistently meet on-time performance targets. e. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. f. Coordinate and support preventive maintenance activities to maintain vehicle reliability and operational readiness at all times. g. Prepare and submit detailed incident and discrepancy reports related to loading and unloading operations within 24 hours, supported by proper documentation and photo evidence. h. Load, unload, and retrieve cargo from airlines and vessels (including cabin load operations) in accordance with prescribed handling procedures and safety standards. i. Transportation: Safely operate vehicles to transport clients, goods or materials to specified locations in a timely manner. This includes planning routes based on traffic conditions and ensuring on-time delivery. j. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness. Report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure safety and reliability. k. Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing assistance and ensuring a positive experience. This may involve helping clients with loading and unloading goods or providing information about the transportation process. l. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance. This includes keeping track of delivery schedules and ensuring all necessary documentation is up to date. m. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all local and international traffic regulations and safety protocols. This includes following emergency procedures and ensuring that all required vehicle documents, such as licenses and insurance, are valid. You’ll thrive in this role if you Educational Background · Vocational training or relevant TESDA certification Professional Experience · At least 2 years of relevant driving experience, preferably in cargo, logistics, or delivery operations · Good knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and navigation tools Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities a. Others · Physically fit and able to lift or carry items if required d.
