About The Role

Here’s the difference you’ll make You’ll be responsible for truck fleet management and equipment and manpower allocation. Part of the function includes the dispatch of containers (dry van, reefers, and isotanks ) and trucks for pick-ups and deliveries to meet the required delivery date of customers, and collation of billings documents in coordination with Documentation Department. The position also assumes responsibility in managing chassis inventory, container allocation, and production of various operational and management reports. What you’ll do (your mission) Plans and execute equipment and manpower allocation to ensure on time pick-up and delivery to customers Develops operational policies and procedures to comply with customer and/or regulatory requirements Ensures on-time submission of PODs for timely billing to customers Optimizes equipment utilization to achieve cost efficiency Coordinates with customers to discuss operational set-up and/or operational issues. Develop corrective/preventive actions Negotiates contract/rates with suppliers to ensure management of service levels and achieve cost efficiency Formulates and manages department budget Prepares operational and management reports Ensures on-time submission of Claims related documents Management of Ops Revolving fund Coordinate with internal customers to address pick-up/delivery/vessel ops issues Supervise day-to-day operations You’ll thrive in this role if you… 🔍 Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business -related or Engineering course Minimum of 5 years related work experience Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Leadership Competencies Leading Teams Growth Mindset Innovation Technical Competencies Logistics /Supply Chain/Cold chain/Liquid Transport Computer Aptitude Others Problem Solving and Decision Making License / Certificate ISO/Six Sigma /TESDA Certifying Body Preferred but not required What’s in it for you 🌟 Own work that matters.
