Fuel and Lubes Surveyor is vital in the organization to ensure that the vessels receive the “right quantity” and the “right quality” of fuel oil products delivered by the oil suppliers. Through our competent and honest Bunkering Surveyor, oil spillage, pilferage and fraud are prevented, if not eliminated What you'll do (your mission) a. Ensures fuel and lube oil requests of the vessels are placed. b. Responsible for the correct quality and quantity of fuel and lube oil deliveries. c. Conducts fuel and lube oil inventories on board the vessel on a regular basis. d. Conducts fuel sampling at a regular interval. e. See to it that safety measures are taken before, during, and after bunkering. f. Prepares documentation and receiving of fuel deliveries. g. Track and monitor changes of vessels schedule and activities. h. Perform other bunkering activities as assigned. i. Assist in the department-initiated projects. j. Prepares the vessels monthly fuel and lube oil inventories. k. Performs other duties that maybe required by the superior officer. You'll thrive in this role if you Educational Background · At least Bachelor Degree Holder (preferably BS Marine Engineering/BS Marine Transportation Professional Experience · At least 1-2 years relevant working experience Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities a.
