Temporary Special Events Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY Mecklenburg County is excited to add a Temporary Recreation Assistant to our team! This position will assist with a variety of outdoor special events, activities, and commemorative events. This position will primarily be located in the Uptown Charlotte area, but events will be at various locations and times as needed. The incumbent will provide light housekeeping and sanitation before, during and after events, prepare the facilities for reservations/bookings and assist with other event duties as assigned. This position will work a varying schedule, which may include nights, weekends and holidays depending on special events and reservations schedule. As is typical with event operations, hours vary and are subject to change.
