About The Role
> Position Summary The ideal candidate will join a vibrant and inclusive educational community and have a desire and ability to work with a diverse population. This is an unpaid internship program for current MassBay students. As a member of the End User Services team, this individual provides technical hardware/software support for client computers and other technologies within MassBay. This individual provides courteous, timely, and effective assistance to students, faculty and staff, including classroom, lab, and event support. Note: Current Computer Science majors may be eligible to satisfy CS 280 through this internship. For more details, please contact Brenda Egan at . Key Responsibilities and Duties: Monitor and resolve IT help desk ticket requests and incidents; Support computers and peripheral equipment using a variety of operating systems and applications; Assist with maintaining and installing software applications related to MassBay computing; Support College-wide and multi-campus audiovisual services in classrooms, meeting rooms, and auditorium; Assist in providing routine computer, printer, and peripherals maintenance; Provide computer software and hardware orientation for students; Perform other duties as assigned.
