Head of Technical Training (m/f/x)

Regulatory responsibility and maintenance delivery: Be responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of training to the Luxair Maintenance Organisation and CAMO in accordance with EASA Part-145/-66/-147 and/or EASA Part-M/-CAMO, the approved Luxair MOE and/or CAME, other applicable regulations, and internal procedures. Maintain the MOE and CAME sections relevant to the department, including job descriptions, procedures and instructions. Ensure that the delivered trainings meet the requirements of the related departments through cooperation with the Heads of Department and be the key contact for aviation authorities for license and training matters. Leadership, resources and safety culture: Lead, motivate and develop the dedicated staff, ensuring that the necessary technical, organizational and personnel resources are available to support safe and effective daily operations. Promote a strong safety, quality and compliance culture within the department, while fostering cost awareness, optimal resource utilization and continuous improvement. Performance management and improvement: Monitor departmental and leadership performance through suitable KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and initiate corrective or improvement actions to enhance safety, quality, efficiency and overall performance. Ensure that all training activities are designed and delivered in line with high pedagogical standards. Monitor and manage the external providers to ensure cost effective solutions and deliverables. Budget, cost control: Contribute to the budget process, monitor cost development and implement actions where necessary. Stakeholder coordination and operational support: Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders of Luxair Technics, manage related contracts, work autonomously on strategic and operational matters within the scope of responsibility, escalate when required, and ensure appropriate availability and responsiveness to support operational needs and critical situations.
