Field Service Technician

You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot air separation plants at customer sites while serving as the primary technician for assigned locations with minimal supervision Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements at each plant location Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and calibrations on process equipment, including centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, gas analyzers, electrical control systems, and pneumatic control valves Further, you will diagnose and resolve plant, equipment, and process issues, developing practical solutions to moderately complex operational and maintenance challenges Manage daily operations and maintenance activities, prioritizing work and managing time effectively across assigned plant locations Coordinate contractors and internal/external resources to support maintenance activities, audits, projects, and administrative requirements Monitor plant performance and implement improvements to maintain or increase plant efficiency, reliability, and productivity And you will provide technical support and guidance for operational and maintenance projects as needed Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular interaction, responsive support, and effective communication Travel to customer sites, typically within an hour of the home location, and maintain ownership of plant performance and operational excellence Participate in an on-call rotation with 24/7 availability as needed, carrying a company cell phone and laptop to ensure immediate responsiveness and support uninterrupted plant operations Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams
