QA-QC Engineer

You will oversee and support the procurement process of piping, equipment, and package units with respect to supplier compliance with project and code requirements Prepare and provide project monitoring, cost control, and reporting for the QA/QC discipline Review vendor welding, testing, and NDE procedures Develop, review, and update quality assurance documentation such as Inspection Attribute Lists, Inspection Checklists, and Inspection/Welding Specifications for product lines in cooperation with SLNA Engineering and Project Management Departments Respond to and manage quality issues identified by vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel. Ensure root cause analyses methodology is followed and corrective actions are completed in a timely fashion Communicate lessons learned of QA/QC non-conformities to Engineering for implementation into the design and future best practices Interpret code issues for design, fabrication, inspection, and testing of piping, pressure vessels, and welding Collaborate closely with the Materials Technology and Codes Engineer in the review and / or recommendation of changes of material due to availability or ASTM deviations for active projects and spare parts orders You will also lead the supplier inspection process and develop Project Inspection Plans and coordinate external inspection resources Provide technical support during Inspection visits of purchased equipment for compliance with project specifications templates, and tools required for QA/QC Engineering and Supplier Inspections, within the SLNA Quality Management System
