Project Engineer – Spare Parts After Sales (m/f/d)

In this role you independently manage and process spare parts inquiries, considering technical and commercial requirements, and sales to internal as well as 3rd party customers Build and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships Core of your sales activities is identifying business opportunities and contributing to new business development Furthermore, you coordinate with global spare parts teams to ensure efficient execution of customer and supplier requirements Identify, specify, and source spare parts, including obsolete components, for plant equipment (e.g., compressors, turbines, valves, instrumentation, and electrical systems) Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of supplier quotations You prepare cost calculations and customer quotations and process orders from customers You initiate and manage supplier orders, and oversee the complete order processing cycle You collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, project management teams, and internal specialist departments Maintaining accurate and consistent spare parts data across internal and external database systems is an important task You prepare spare parts documentation, inspect the spares and coordinate final handover to our customers Expediting inquiries and orders, resolving issues or providing troubleshooting support as needed You coordinate shipments, ensure on-time delivery, and manage spare parts handover and order close-out processes In this role, you will also support Initial Spare Parts Outfit projects, being responsible for selecting, specifying and procuring spare parts for newly built plants and their components
