About The Role

**PRIMARY FUNCTION:**
To load and unload saggars on ceramic kiln bed based on schedule, prepare paperwork, and sign-off on operations. Operate the Kiln per procedure to ensure product flow and quality.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**

· Perform all load and unload operations according to procedures.
· Loads saggars with raw material on ceramic kilns according to procedures.
· Make temperature checks as required.
· Change ceramic kilns temperatures per schedule to run different material according to specifications.
· Unloads fired product from saggars and identifies by lot number.
· Notifies supervision/engineers of equipment malfunctions.
· Keep the Kiln area and equipment clean and orderly.
· Process products per the production planning.

**REFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

· Education: High School diploma, AS Degree or equivalent required
· Experience: 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing Environment
· Able to perform simple data entry and use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
· Math skills: Working knowledge of basic arithmetic, negative numbers, decimals and fractions.
· Verbal/communication: Able to read and understand technical reports, process specifications, and office correspondence.
· Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including equipment support, technician and/or others, to ensure efficient production and meet quality standards.
· Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
· Ability to work shoulder to shoulder and sharing equipment in tight quarters.
Able to work and move between different stations.
