Job Purpose

To manage and support the site’s network infrastructure and CCTV systems to ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted operations at manufacturing and project locations, while also providing basic IT end‑user support when required, in line with KP Group policies.

Key Responsibilities

Network Support (Primary)

Manage and support LAN, WAN, and Wi‑Fi networks across manufacturing and site offices.

Perform installation, configuration, and first‑level troubleshooting of

Switches, routers, access points, Firewalls, and structured cabling

Monitor network connectivity and resolve issues related to

  • IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing
  • Coordinate with Head Office IT for advanced network configuration, changes, and troubleshooting.
  • Work with ISPs for internet link installation, uptime monitoring, fault resolution, and SLA tracking.

CCTV & Surveillance Systems (Primary)

Install, configure, and support CCTV surveillance systems, including

  • IP / Analog cameras
  • NVR / DVR systems
  • Storage and recording health checks
  • Monitor camera uptime and recording status for plant security and compliance needs.
  • Coordinate with HO team and CCTV vendors for breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.
  • Maintain documentation related to CCTV layouts, devices, and maintenance records.

Basic End User Support (Secondary)

Provide

  • Level‑1 / Level‑2 IT support
  • for desktops, laptops, and peripherals when required.

Support basic issues related to

  • Windows OS, MS Office, email, antivirus, VPN
  • Network and local printers
  • Escalate complex end‑user issues to designated IT teams / HO Team.

Vendor & Field Coordination

  • Act as site SPOC for network, CCTV, ISP, and hardware vendors.
  • Support IT activities across multiple locations / project sites as required.
  • Assist during plant expansion, new site setup, or relocation activities.

Documentation, Assets & Compliance

Maintain records for

  • Network devices, CCTV equipment, and related IT assets
  • Vendor AMCs and service tickets

IT Asset & Record Management / Documentation, Assets & Compliance

Maintain accurate records of

  • Laptops, desktops, printers, Network devices, CCTV equipment, and IT accessories
  • Vendor AMCs and service tickets
  • Perform asset tagging, allocation, movement tracking, and handover as per policy.
  • Support periodic asset verification and audits.
  • Maintain IT support logs and basic documentation related to incidents and assets.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Hands‑on experience with switches, routers, access points and firewalls
  • Practical exposure to CCTV systems (IP/Analog)
  • Basic desktop, printer, and end‑user support skills
  • Good coordination, documentation, and troubleshooting abilities

Qualification & Experience

Education

Diploma / Graduate in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field

Experience

3–5 years in Network & CCTV Support roles

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing, plant, or multi‑site environments
