JOB DESCRIPTION DEPARTMENT Actuarial ERM REPORTING POSITION L6 WORK LOCATION Goregaon (East), Mumbai. Corporate office KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Weightage Asset Liability Management: v Preparation of the Asset Liability Management Council deck to be presented to the management. v Calculating and monitoring the derivative position of the company to ensure sufficient hedging. v Calculation and monitoring of duration & cashflow gaps along with explanation of key changes v Evaluation of guarantees embedded in the products. v Testing the resilience of the Balance Sheet against market related stresses v Assessment of the Strategic Asset Allocation for each fund Economic Capital: v Calculating the Economic Capital requirement of the company as well as explanation of how the capital requirement is changing each quarter. v Calibration of the shocks required for Economic Capital. v Adhoc improvements and changes in the Economic Capital process to comply with any directives/circulars proposed by IRDAI. Risk Based Capital v Calculating/assisting in the preparation of the Risk Based Capital numbers as per guidelines set out by IRDAI. TOTAL 100% REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS Other skill set: · Near qualified or qualified actuary from either Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) or the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI). · Having 4-7 years of experience in a Life Insurer. · Experience in Prophet and DCS. · Prior experience in Valuation, Shareholder Reporting or Risk team preferred. · Stakeholder Management.
