JOB DESCRIPTION DEPARTMENT Actuarial ERM REPORTING POSITION L3 WORK LOCATION Goregaon (East), Mumbai. Corporate office KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Weightage Experience analysis: Evaluating the Mortality Experience for both Individual and Group business. Calculating the persistency rates to track policyholder retention. Preparing the Enterprise Risk Management Council deck highlighting the key risks which are currently faced by Kotak Life. Collaborating with the Valuation and Shareholder Reporting teams to establish actuarial assumptions for mortality, lapse, surrender, and paid-up experience. Drafting Chapter 3 (Analysis of Experience) for the Appointed Actuary’s Annual Report. Preparation of the Report on Persistency to be sent to IRDA. TOTAL 100% REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS · Having 0-2 years of experience in the actuarial team of a Life Insurer. · Successful completion of 4-7 actuarial exams from either the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) or the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI). · Proficient in Excel and Access · Familiarity with DCS, SQL and VBA would be an added advantage
