________________________________________ JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION Manager – Group Pricing DESIGNATION Manager POSITION CODE POSITION GRADE L3 DEPARTMENT Actuarial SUB DEPARTMENT Actuarial - Group Pricing OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in pricing group life insurance products (e.g., term, credit life), along with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills. The role involves: Pricing and profitability analysis Reinsurance negotiations Development and enhancement of pricing models Collaboration with sales, underwriting, and finance teams KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Weightage · Pricing & Sales Support Prepare competitive and profitable quotations for group credit life insurance schemes Provide timely resolution of queries related to product, pricing, and process to support business acquisition and retention · Stakeholder Management Liaise with Group Sales, internal departments, and reinsurers for finalization of quotations · Compliance & Process Adherence Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and maintain profitability standards · Reporting & MIS Monitoring experience analysis and reporting to respective internal committees 70% 10% 10% 10% TOTAL 100% INTERACTIONS Internal Relations: Sales, Underwriting, Operations, Claims External Relations: Reinsurers REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS Educational Qualifications: Graduate in any stream Work Experience: Minimum 2 years in group term/credit life pricing Certifications: Pursuing actuarial exams preferred (not mandatory) Other skill set: · Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint Strong logical reasoning and data analysis skills · Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure DATE APPROVED BY (HOD) APPROVED BY (HR)
