Engineering or Production Engineering. CAD Software Proficiency: Strong foundational skills using 3D modeling programs such as SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, or Siemens NX. GD&T Knowledge: Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and engineering drafting standards. Material & Manufacturing Familiarity: Fundamental comprehension of basic materials (metals, plastics) alongside sheet metal fabrication or machining limits . Core Problem Solving: Analytical mindset capable of breaking down mechanical issues and applying physics principles to real-world hardware. Communication & Collaboration: Fluency in professional language, great listening skills, and comfort operating inside tight multidisciplinary project groups. Hands-on internship history or prior working background in an active industrial design lab or automotive environments Basic familiarity with simulation engines for mechanical analysis using tools like Creo Simulate or ANSYS.Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software or data workflows like Teamcenter.
