Role Overview

The

Academic Facilitator

  • will deliver
  • electronics and STEM-based training sessions for teachers and students in schools
  • . The role requires hands-on knowledge of
  • basic electronics, circuit design, 3D printing, mechanical tools, and STEM project development
  • to support schools in effectively utilizing
  • Tinkering Lab equipment and technologies
  • .
  • The candidate should demonstrate a strong interest in
  • practical learning, innovation, and mentoring students in technology-driven projects
  • .

Required Technical Skills

  • Basic knowledge of
  • electronics, circuit connections, and circuit design

Ability to

  • identify electronic components and work with them
  • Experience in building
  • simple electronics and robotics projects using microcontroller boards

Ability to

  • design and develop STEM projects suitable for school-level students
  • Basic knowledge of
  • advanced development boards such as ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and NodeMCU

Understanding of

  • Arduino-based systems, sensors, coding, and hardware integration
  • Basic proficiency in

MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

for reporting and documentation

Key Responsibilities

Plan and organize training schedules and sessions effectively

Conduct

STEM, robotics, and electronics training for teachers and students

Travel to

different schools across Karnataka when required

Maintain

  • regular coordination with schools regarding training schedules and feedback
  • Guide teachers and students in
  • developing innovative STEM project ideas

Support

  • school-level workshops, innovation activities, and competitions
  • Mentor students participating in
  • robotics and innovation competitions

Submit

regular training reports, documentation, and feedback to the Training Head

Assist in

Tinkering Lab setup processes and ensure alignment with required setup procedures

Personal Skills

Strong

learning mindset and willingness to explore new technologies

Ability to

adapt quickly to new skills, tools, and processes

Good

communication and presentation skills

Ability to

  • collaborate effectively with team members
  • Flexible and willing to travel frequently
