Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated Project Management Intern to join our Real Estate & Facilities (REF) team. You will work closely with Project Managers to support the lifecycle of office development projects across the America Region. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with diverse internal departments and external partners, gaining hands-on experience in large-scale corporate real estate operations.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Management team in design analysis and technical review processes to ensure project requirements align with company standards.
  • Assist in tracking project schedules and monitoring budgets to ensure timely delivery and financial accountability.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end payment process, including reviewing invoices, tracking change orders, and reconciling costs with internal finance systems.
  • Act as a liaison between REF and various internal stakeholders (CS, IT, Security, Procurement, Legal, Finance etc.) and external partners (Architects, General Contractors) to drive project alignment and resolve potential bottlenecks.
  • Maintain project dashboards and logs to provide real-time updates on project status, risks, and contingencies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Project management, construction management, architecture, business, real estate or a related field
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to navigate a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Good time management, ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Motivated to learn new tools and systems.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and a growth-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or academic project experience in design, construction, or corporate real estate.
  • Familiarity with project management tools or software.
  • Exposure to construction industry terms and processes through coursework or internships.
