In 2024, MHM Automation and Wyma joined the Fortifi Food Processing Solutions group enabling Fortifi to deliver solutions ranging from single‑line improvements to fully automated food processing plants worldwide.

About the role

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities, working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure materials and services are delivered on time and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders through ERP
• Process drawing packs, material requisitions, Capex and procurement requests
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and delivery requirements
• Maintain accurate item, pricing, and supplier data within ERP
• Support inventory control, stock counts, and reconciliations
• Contribute to quality, continuous improvement, and health & safety initiatives

About you

• Experience in purchasing or supply chain roles (manufacturing/export preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment
• Confident communicator with solid Microsoft Office (ERP and Excel skills will be important)
• Confident interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
