Medical Assistant

Room Patients, triage, obtain/document medical history and chief complaint in EMR Document Allergies and Medications and Obtain Informed consent from patients Scribe and assist provider during exams and procedures Assist skin cancer surgeries, medical procedures and cosmetic procedures Prescription management Patient call backs with pathology results/Schedule excisions Prior Authorizations and Biologics Clean and restock exam rooms/assist with inventory Sterilize Instruments Assist with any administrative duties such as answering the phone, patient questions and scheduling

1+ year(s) of Medical Assistant experience (Required) EMR experience (Required) Dermatology experience (Preferred) Front desk experience (Preferred) Looking for future PA / Medical student candidates needing clinical hours for a gap year or more.
