About The Role
Patient scheduling, reminder calls, follow-up appointments Checking in patients, verifying insurance as well as updating patient demographics in PMS . Filing, faxing, scanning, general clerical work Knowledge and desire to navigate practice Website and follow up patient inquiries from website. Communicating with patients via phone as well as office email
The ability to understand and differentiate between patient insurances; commercial plans vs Medicare. Must be able and willing to accurately enter patient information in system. Must have strong computer and technology skills Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills with patients, providers and coworkers. Positive attitude to contribute to the existing AWESOME environment in the office(s). Punctuality is a must and have reliable transportation as we cover two locations. Must be a team player, able and willing to follow directions and eager to learn
Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday (7:30 to 4:30) - Waterbury and Southbury locations Experience: Medical experience a plus but not needed – we will train – but you must want to be a part of an awesome team and to grow with us. Dermatology experience is preferred Education: High School Diploma
