Project description

We have an opportunity for a passionate Backend developer with a strong affinity for big data systems and a willingness to play a key role in a German company's strategic and innovative backend software development team that develops cloud-based security solutions that protect companies and users from cyberattacks and data loss.

The Role

• Design cutting-edge distributed architectures and development for large-scale cloud-based systems
• Think creatively about new technologies, provide new solutions to old problems, or identify new problems/opportunities
• Help create and/or utilize large-scale infrastructure across multiple regions and data centers
• Effectively collaborate with teams locally as well as remotely at each stage of the development process
• Write clean, maintainable code using the best engineering practices in the industry (DVCS, design patterns, TDD, peer reviews, continuous integration, automated testing, etc.

You

• Technologies stack and tools
• Programming languages used: Java, Python, Go, Lua, and maybe a bit of C++
• Technologies employed: A lot! For example Kafka, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, various database types, Kibana, Grafana, Ansible, Helm…you name it.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of several programming languages
• Experienced in software development under Linux
• Being proficient in distributed version control systems
• Passion for software engineering and writing clean code
• Enjoy solving complex problems and paying attention to details
